교리 선언문
우리, 국제 복음주의 대학교 – IESUS는 다섯 가지 기둥을 바탕으로 복음주의 신앙과 신학의 유산을 포용합니다:
1/ Sola Scriptura (오직 성경으로): 성경(66권)은 우리의 궁극적인 권위입니다.
2/ Sola Fide (오직 믿음으로): 우리는 오직 예수 그리스도를 믿는 믿음으로 구원을 받습니다.
3/ Sola Gratia (오직 은혜): 오직 하나님의 은혜로 우리는 구원 받았습니다.
4/ Solus Christus (오직 그리스도): 예수 그리스도만이 우리의 구세주, 주님, 왕이십니다.
5/ Soli Deo Gloria (오직 하나님의 영광을 위하여): 오직 하나님의 영광을 위해 우리는 살아갑니다.
II/ 우리는 또한 다른 두 가지 기둥을 채택합니다:
1/ Solus Spiritus (오직 성령으로): 성령님만이 우리의 중생자, 성화자, 능력자이십니다.
2/ Sola Ecclesia (오직 교회를 통해서): 우주적 교회는 모든 신자가 한 가족으로 통합되어 함께 교화되고 이를 통해 세상에 구원의 복음을 전하는 그리스도의 유일한 몸입니다.
III/ 우리는 그것을 고백합니다:
1/ 삼위일체 하나님은 성부, 성자, 성령 세 위격으로 영원히 동등하게 존재하십니다.
2/ 66권의 책으로 구성된 성경은 무오한 하나님의 말씀이며 우리의 신앙과 실천을 위한 기독교의 정경입니다.
3/ 구원의 복음은 본질적으로 변하지 않지만 형식은 상황에 따라 달라질 수 있습니다.
4/ 교회의 사명은 모든 문화와 민족에게 예수 그리스도의 복음을 전파하고 나누는 것입니다.
5/ 예수 그리스도의 재림은 확실하며, 그분은 산 자와 죽은 자를 심판하실 것입니다.
6/ 모든 믿는 자의 육체적 부활과 영생이 보장되고 기다려집니다.
7/ 천국은 의롭게 된 신자들이 가는 곳이고, 지옥은 구원받지 못한 자들이 가는 곳입니다.
Doctrinal Statement
WE, International Evangelical School of Universal Studies – IESUS, embrace the heritage of Evangelical faith and theology based on the five pillars:
1/ Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone): The Bible (66 books) is our ultimate authority.
2/ Sola Fide (Faith Alone): Through faith alone in Jesus Christ, we are saved.
3/ Sola Gratia (Grace Alone): By the grace of God alone, we are saved.
4/ Solus Christus (Christ Alone): Jesus Christ alone is our Savior, Lord, and King.
5/ Soli Deo Gloria (to the Glory of God Alone): For the glory of God alone, we live.
II/ WE also adopt other two pillars:
1/ Solus Spiritus (Spirit Alone): The Holy Spirit alone is our Regenerator, Sanctifier, and Empowerer.
2/ Sola Ecclesia (Church Alone): The Universal Church is Christ’s Body alone in which all believers are incorporated as a family, through which we are edified together, and via which we bring the gospel of salvation to the world.
III/ WE do confess that:
1/ The Triune God exists eternally and equally in Three Persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
2/ The Holy Bible, consisting of 66 books, is the infallible Word of God and the Christian canon for our faith and practice.
3/ The gospel of salvation is unchanged in essence, however, can be contextualized in form.
4/ The mission of the church is to preach and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all cultural and ethnic groups.
5/ The second coming of Jesus Christ is certain, and He will judge the living and the dead.
6/ The bodily resurrection and the eternal life of all believers are assured and waited for.
7/ The heaven is destined for the justified believers, and the hell, for the unsaved.
